Join the Schmidt & Sons team as an Outside Sales Representative in the San Antonio / Austin Texas area with the possibility of transitioning to a Sales Manager! Schmidt & Sons, Inc. is a privately owned lubricants and fuel distributor, located in Gonzales, Texas, that services South Texas with both branded and unbranded lubricants and fuels. We have over 50 years’ experience handling not only bulk lubricants and fuels but packaged products to include industry related ancillary products.

Responsibilities of the position include:

Outside Sales

Prospect for new sales in the San Antonio / Austin and adjoining South Texas area for both bulk and package lubricants and associated ancillary products. Leads will be self-generated as well as assigned.
Responsibilities will include growth of Heavy-Duty lubricants (both on and off highway) and Passenger Car lubricants (quick lubes, new car dealers and garages).

Manage territory for Brand Growth for all brands associated with Schmidt & Sons, Inc.

Pay compensation to be both base salary and commission.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have excellent communication / leadership / management / team skills
• Computer Skills Should Include Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum 5 years of Experience Preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree preferred
• CRM Experience Preferred
